So when I get there, I can't waste my time!

The 90-Minute Plan

Before you watch the video with Nico, here are some core concepts you need to understand that help bring it all together.

Start by breaking your game into five parts: Driving, Approach, Wedges, Chipping, and Putting. That’s your framework.

Then ask: What’s already good? What needs work?

Most of us obsess over our worst shots. But if you’re a good driver, keep working on that. Don't let your strength become average.

From there, build up your weak spots without chasing every bad shot from last weekend.

It’s not about fixing your swing every time you practice.

How to Practice (When You Don’t Have Time)

  • Make practice competitive: There should be pressure, rules, and consequences.
  • Blend technical work and games: Don’t waste your entire session trying to “fix” mechanics.
  • Simulate real golf: Use games to reflect course situations. Not just perfect lies and simple shots.
  • Track what happens: Write notes, reflect, learn.
Your practice should feel like golf. And your golf should feel like something you’ve actually practiced.

💪 Interesting read on the Arccos distance report. Worth checking out.

Road to 190 update.

I've been working really hard on the road to 190 lately.

Here's the update of what I've learned...

I was hitting some balls on a Foresight, and then Uneekor actually sent over one of their Eye Minis which I've been using and I've noticed clubhead speeds are a couple miles per hour higher on those on the Skytrak.

Not complaining about that as it's nice to be able to hop on a different launch monitor and get a little bit higher speeds.

But really the road to 190 has not so much been hitting balls but in the gym.

I actually aggravated my left knee after a lot of technical swing work. I was working on pushing and jumping more with my left leg.

Thankfully I had a PT friend here in MN who's been helping me out.

He's done a bit of treatment. Everything seems to be fine. Just need to get stronger.

We really noticed (and maybe you also saw this from the Kolby video that we did) anytime I'm trying to do something with one leg, the stability and strength SUCK, especially with my right leg. I need to improve that.

This is what I've been doing...

I'm probably more locked in than I've ever been right now, getting into the gym a couple of times a week and speed training once a week (or something like that).

We're going to hit 190 this year.

Hope this helps motivate you on whatever journey or goal you are trying to hit this year!

Till next week,

-Cordie
